La humana aventura del conocimiento recibió de los jesuitas un legado de primer orden. Hubo entre ellos pioneros que se aventuraron por tierras y disciplinas inexploradas, inventores de alfabetos, teóricos y científicos que intentaron hacer compatibles la confianza en los métodos del conocimiento y la conciencia de los límites de la razón.

The human adventure of knowledge of the Jesuits received a legacy of the first order. Among them were pioneers who ventured into unexplored lands and fields, inventors of alphabets, theorists and scientists who attempted to reconcile the trust in the methods of knowledge and awareness of the limits of reason.
